For pilots looking for an advanced level of experience flying the AT-6 Texan or N2S Stearman, History Flight, Inc. offers dual instruction aboard both aircraft types. With our experienced pilot / instructors as mentors in the air and on the ground, we are able to custom design a flight training program to meet your needs -- from basic indoctrination training in the type to advanced, pre-solo preparation** for pilots aspiring to own or operate a warbird or high performance aircraft of their own.
We are happy to work with you on special package pricing to meet your budget and unique training needs. Packages of 5 to 10 pre-paid flight hours are standard for our dual instruction discounted pricing.
Dual training*** is accomplished with an experienced instructor conducting all ground and flight instruction. Flight instruction is available at the following rates for dual training (includes fuel expense):
$795 per flight hour$695 per flight hour
Flight training may be scheduled and conducted as part of our annual barnstorming tour on a limited, case-by-case basis, or may also be scheduled during our Winter season from our base in Marathon, Florida - in the heart of the beautiful Florida Keys.
