Agamemnon Gus Pantel

Dr. Agamemnon Gus Pantel is an archeologist who holds a Ph.D. from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville and Bachelor’s and Master’s Degrees from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio. He was a Smithsonian Institution Predoctoral Fellow, George Washington University Educational Fellow, Participant at the UNESCO world conservation training center in Rome, Italy and a Visiting Scholar at the American Academy in Rome. He has lived and worked in the Caribbean for the last 46 years specializing in Precolumbian and Post-Columbian archaeology. He has taught at numerous universities and has published and lectured extensively. He is multi-lingual and is an ICOMOS-ICAHM Expert Member. He has been with History Flight since 2011 and is the History Flight Chief Scientific Officer.
