History Flight began in 2003 with a commitment to preserve aviation history. That work quickly led to a more urgent calling: finding the people who never returned from the missions we remember.

Today, the organization works across the European and Pacific theaters, bringing together researchers, archaeologists, remote-sensing specialists, forensic experts, and dedicated partners.
